About

I'm Guido Sirna, entrepreneur and composer based in Buenos Aires and Barcelona. My work bridges digital innovation, technology and creative expression.

With a background in arts and technology, I've co-founded two startups in Latin America and led digital transformation projects across both public institutions and blockchain ecosystems. I hold a degree in Electroacoustic Composition from the Universidad Nacional de las Artes and a Master's in Management of Information Systems from the London School of Economics.

I've contributed to initiatives in identity and public infrastructure, including the launch of miBA, the digital identity platform for the City of Buenos Aires. Currently, I work at Hedera, where I focus on decentralized identity and privacy-preserving solutions. I'm also part of the Sandbox community and the Global Shapers network of the World Economic Forum.

My focus is on innovation and product development. I explore how technology can be used to build human-centered systems that empower individuals while addressing institutional needs. Current areas of work include digital identity and verifiable credentials, privacy-preserving infrastructure, decentralized trust and authentication, and product strategy and discovery for emerging technologies.

Under the name Gerda, I produce electronic music and audiovisual performances that fuse electronica with traditional instruments and organic sounds. Beyond my own productions, I collaborate with visual artists and performers, and occasionally lead workshops on sound design, generative tools, and live performance systems.
